How Regular Show On Tv Began
Regular Show originated as an animated short called “2 in the AM PM” (also known as “Two Guys and Guy”). It was created by J.G. Quintel for Cartoon Network’s open-mic project. It originally aired on January 15th, 2009, and would go on to create a following online after it officially debuted on the CN website. It was popular enough to be picked up for a pilot, which was made into the series’ first episode, “Ello Gov’nor”. The two shorts that Quintel created were also re-used in three of the episodes (“Mordecai and The Rigbys” and “First Day”).
The idea behind Regular Show began when Quintel was in college and working on Camp Lazlo, he came up with the idea of a blue jay and raccoon duo that worked as groundskeepers at a park. He took this idea to his boss at the time, who told him that if he could get it made into an eleven minute short, then it would have a chance to get green lit. So Quintel did just that novata esg 21m seriesquinsonbloomberg, and it eventually became a pilot after he worked on it with several writers for 10 months.
